How dear to me is your dwelling, O Lord of Hosts! ~Psalm 84:1

We are blessed with a beautiful space that offers a spiritual oasis for our community. Sited within a four-acre landscape of mature oaks accented with flowering trees and shrubs, Church of Our Saviour encompasses two primary worship spaces: our main sanctuary and the historic Rock Chapel.

Completed in 1906, the Rock Chapel is a community landmark. Used for daily services and retreats, it seats 80 within its warm interior of dappled stained glass, fieldstone, and wood.

The main sanctuary, constructed in 1967 to meet the needs of a growing congregation, comfortably seats over 200. Like the Rock Chapel, it is a warm, inviting space that highlights the beautiful character of exposed wood in its ceiling and interior trusses. The music of our nine rank Lewis & Hitchcock pipe organ benefits from the sanctuary's fine acoustics.

Attached to the main sanctuary, we also have offices, a library, and classrooms, as well as a parish hall and kitchen suitable for hosting community events. Lucia House, adjoining the church's back parking area, provides a center for small groups, meetings, and Youth Group activities.

Although we use our spaces primarily for the activities of the parish, we also host selected community-based social ministries and non-profit organizations.

Because the events calendar is so full, you must put your meeting or event on the church calendar to be sure of having a place to meet. Please check with the office at 434.973.6512 to reserve a space before you schedule your meeting or event.
