The Schoolhouse Thrift Shop at Rio is located on the church campus and opened in 1992, at 1147 East Rio Road next to Church of Our Saviour. The Schoolhouse Thrift Shop's primary purpose is to raise funds for the outreach programs of Region XV of the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia. Many of our members spend time volunteering along with people from other churches throughout the area.

Money raised by the Thrift Shop goes to support Habitat for Humanity, Ministry With the Aging, The Alliance for Interfaith Ministries, and the Gertrude Mitchell House, thereby helping children, women, the aging and those in need.

The Shop not only sells items at low cost, it gives clothing to families in need by working with social service organizations. The Shop also offers Christian fellowship for its volunteers.
