Faith is a lifelong journey of learning and discernment. Our parishioners pursue understanding in a variety of ways. All are welcome to share in this abundance! Please see our Event Calendar or the Adult Spiritual Formation Brochure for dates, times, and topics.

Adult Forum

Forums consist of a presentation followed by a question and answer period.  Forums address a wide variety of topics, including the Bible, theology, Church history and contemporary issues. Held Sundays at 10:10-10:50 a.m. in the Parish Hall from September through April/May.  The first Adult Forum this season is on September 19th - the fall 2010 schedule of topics can be found here.

Bible Study

On Sundays

Let's Learn Together - an informal Bible study open to everyone.  Meets at 10:10 a.m. downstairs in Lucia House.  This bible study resumes on October 10th.

Women's Bible Study

The Women's Bible Study Group starts up again on September 14th, meeting each Tuesday from 9:30-11:00 a.m. in Lucia House.  Topics vary throughout the season.  The structure of the group is the first 15 minutes spent socializing, followed by an hour discussion, then 15 minutes spent in prayer.  Childcare will be provided but we must know ahead of time to plan staff needs.  If you are interested in taking this journey with us as we explore the Bible, our faith, prayer, and friendship, please contact
Abbey Bauer

Conversations in Faith

Fridays, 10:00-11:30 a.m. in the Parish Hall.  This is a casual co-ed discussion group for people of all ages.  We use scripture to understand more about our faith and worship, and topics change every 5-7 weeks as determined by the group so you can attend one or all. Meet with us on September 10th to determine the schedule for this fall.

Episcopal Faith Discussions for Adult Inquirers

This discussion group is open to all adults.  It meets once a week for 10 weeks during the spring, and the discussion revolves around the way we worship and pray in the Episcopal Church.  We learn about the church’s history and explore what it means to live out our baptismal covenant as Episcopalians.  This group is open to everyone.  Some members of the group may choose to be confirmed or received by our bishop when he visits later in the spring.   If you are interested in an upcoming Adult Inquirers groungs, please re-visit this web page in February.

Foundations Discussions

The Foundations Class is an informal adult discussion group for parents who are currently raising children (and those considering it).  The purpose of the Foundations Class is to form an interactive discussion group of parents in strengthening the Christian foundation within the home.  Examples of potential scriture-based studies include the following: Parenting with a Purpose; Grace-Based Parenting; Parenting with a Kind Heart; Teaching Your Children to Pray; Sharing Faith with Your Child; Your Child and Respect; Youth Child and Discipline, etc.

Led by Todd and Abbey Bauer, on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. in the library (September through May). It will start up again on Sunday, September 19th.

Men's Breakfast & Fellowship

Join the men for breakfast and scripture-based discussion on theological, current, and biblical topics.  Led by the Rev. David Stoddart, held at 7:00 a.m. on Thursdays throughout the year in the Parish Hall.

Sharing God's Peace

This interfaith ministry brings persons of different religions and cultures together for conversation and study to better understand each other, a ministry particularly needed during the current period of tension and hostility. All are welcome!  Meets the first Thursday each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Rock Chapel.
